I know it’s been a few weeks, but no long post here. This is just a reminder of what kind of people you’re supporting when you buy a puppy from a pet store, at a market, or out of the back of a truck.
Rambler is the newest addition to the rescue (although not my foster). Some of our compassionate friends saved him from an Amish family who were going to kill him and his two siblings because they weren’t selling fast enough. If by “kill” you think I mean “humanely euthanize,” well, that’s some optimism you’ve got there.
Rambler’s two siblings were taken by other area rescues, and besides having a belly full of worms, Rambler seems to be in decent shape. He’s on his way to good health, all the cuddles he can take, and a family who deserves him.
